Simply Into My HAIR: A Natural Progression….

"Oooooh-Weeee!!!!"

I am super excited about some new news that I have to share with you!!! My sister has decided to transition back to her natural hair!

As I’ve mentioned, I might just be a teeny tiny bit excited for her as she embarks upon her hair journey. Trust me, I never thought I would ever utter the words ‘Carissa’ and ‘hair journey’ in the same sentence but stranger things have happened and trust me, this is right up there amongst the strangest!
My sister and I are really alike in a lot of ways, i.e. we both love a good laugh (most times at inappropriate things!), we both love to shop and if the two are combined we are both as happy as Larry (whoever this Larry is!). However, we are at completely different ends of the spectrum when it comes to our approach to hair care.  Seriously, we couldn’t be more polar opposite if we tried. On one hand there is me – totally up for experimenting with new products and styling options, no matter how long they take….and on the other hand, you have my sister who is all about getting great results, quickly and with the minimum of fuss, effort, steps to follow and cost!

Carissa wants to document her transition so we decided that she should join Simply Into My HAIR as a guest blogger. She will upload posts throughout her journey (which I’m sure will be as stunning as she is as she has got such a great eye for photography and such a pretty little face - hey, is it too late for me to back out of this harebrained idea?!). Carissa's posts will no doubt breathe a breath of fresh air into Simply Into My HAIR and I am so excited to be able to share this experience with my ‘lil sis’.

Meet Carissa, the bramd spanking new Guest Blogger at Simply Into My HAIR - Naturals

It will be a bit of a learning curve for her but I’m sure she will enjoy getting reacquainted with her natural texture. I will look on with green eyes (and scissors at the ready) when her already gorgeous hair no doubt becomes even more beautiful in the weeks and months ahead.

“Love you sis and thanks for everything you will contribute.”  If you ever do a henna gloss treatment from start to finish.....I will eat my hat - or my wig!!!

 Ciao 4 Now
