With dutasteride half life of 5 weeks, why take it daily?

What about dutasteride? Going by that logic and considering its half life, shouldn’t we gap duasteridet dosage to like once a week or once every 4 days or something? Thanks. I agree that with a 5 week half life for dutasteride, a once a week dose should work.
